(17806) Adolf Born is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 31 March 1998 by Czech astronomer Petr Pravec at the observatory Ondřejov ( IAU code 557) on the mountain Manda in Ondřejov in the Czech Republic was discovered.

The asteroid was named on January 9, 2001 after the Czech caricaturist and graphic artist Adolf Born (1930–2016), who also worked as an animator and book illustrator and whose color lithographs combine the demands of the visual arts with those of humorous entertainment.
