(17821) Bölsche is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 31, 1998 by the German amateur astronomers André Knöfel and Jens Kandler at the Drebach public observatory.
The celestial body was named after the German writer and naturalist Wilhelm Bölsche (1861–1939).
