(2269) Efremiana is an asteroid of the main belt . It was discovered on May 2, 1976 by Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory and named after the Russian-Soviet paleontologist and science fiction author Ivan Antonovich Yefremov .
