(25237) Hurwitz is a main belt - Asteroid that on 20 October 1998 by the American Italo- astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code in 684) Arizona was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the German mathematician Adolf Hurwitz (1859-1919), whose name was given to several mathematical theorems of number theory and function theory .
