(29837) Savage is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 21 March 1999 by the Italian-American astronomer Paul G. Comba at Prescott Observatory ( IAU code 684) in Arizona was discovered.
The asteroid was named after the American mathematician and statistician Leonard J. Savage (1917–1971), who dealt with the basics of statistics and statistical probabilities ( Bayesian statistics ) and statistics in game theory as well as applications in economics.
