(4099) Wiggins is a main belt asteroid discovered on January 13, 1988 by Henri Debehogne from the European Southern Observatory .
The asteroid was named after Patrick Wiggins (* 1949), who was employed at the Hansen Planetarium in Salt Lake City for more than 26 years .
