(4282) Endate is a main belt asteroid discovered on October 28, 1987 by Hiroshi Kaneda and Seiji Ueda of the Kushiro-shi Observatory.

The asteroid was named after the Japanese astronomer Kin Endate (* 1960), who discovered several asteroids.
