(4511) Rembrandt is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 28, 1935 by the Dutch astronomer Hendrik van Gent in Johannesburg .
The asteroid is named in honor of the Dutch painter and etcher Rembrandt van Rijn (1606–1669).
