(47835) Stevecoe is a Main Belt asteroid discovered on March 10, 2000 by Richard Erik Hill of the Catalina Sky Survey project . He is a member of the Eunomia family and was named after the amateur astronomer Steve Coe, who is a member of the Saguaro Astronomical Society of Phoenix , Arizona and has authored several books on astronomical observations.
