(5533) Bagrov is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on September 21, 1935 by the Russian astronomer Pelageja Fyodorovna Shain at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis .
The asteroid was named on May 4, 1999 at the suggestion of the Crimean Observatory after Niolai Wassiljewitsch Bagrov (* 1937), a geographer and professor at the Simferopol State University.
