Álvaro Pintos , full name Álvaro Gabriel Pintos Fraga (born October 24, 1977 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
According to his club, the 1.80 meter tall striker began his career in 1996 at the first division club Atlético Cerro , where he was part of the squad until 2000. During this period he won with the club both the Apertura and the Clausura of the second division season in 1998 and rose to the Primera División that year with the Montevideans as second division champions . In 2001 he moved to Peñarol . With the "Aurinegros" he won the Copa Paysandú and won the Torneo Clasificatorio 2001. In the following year he returned to Cerro and is there for the Torneo Clasificatorio that year as a player of the club, as well as in the Clausura 2003, in the 14 games and seven goals have been recorded for him. In 2003 he was also in the ranks of the Peruvian association Universitario de Deportes . His club won the Copa Perú that year . In the 2004 Torneo Clasificatorio he played for Central Español . In the same year he was also active for the Israeli club FC Bnei Sachnin . In the Clausura 2006 he played ten games in the first division of Mexico for Irapuato . This was followed by the renewed return to Club Atlético Cerro, for which he played the second division 2006/07 season after relegation and was able to celebrate the promotion at the end of the season. In the 2007 Apertura, he joined Bella Vista . With the Montevideanern he was used in seven first division games (one goal). From there he moved on to Real Potosí , for whom he scored four goals in six games of the Copa Libertadores and scored 13 goals in 18 league games in the Apertura 2008. He completed the 2008/09 season for the Iranian club Rah-Ahan Tehran . 15 missions and one goal included his personal record. In June 2009 he joined Jorge Wilstermann . In Apertura and Clausura 2009 he played 15 league games for the Bolivian club. He filled his goals account with six goals. In 2010 he signed with Cobresal in Chile . Depending on the sources, 34 games with ten or eleven goals are played for him. The other career stations were now the Argentine club San Martín de Tucumán (2011; eight games, no goal) and the club San José , for which he scored six times in 21 games.
Since the 2012/13 season he was back in the squad of Club Atlético Cerro. The balance there is: 17 missions, two goals. However, he was mostly substituted on (15 times). In August 2013 he moved on loan to the second division club Atlético Torque, which was then coached by Hugo Pilo . There he completed five second division games and scored one goal in the 2013/14 season until his last appearance on November 16, 2013 in the 0-1 home defeat against Huracán FC. After the 2013/14 season, he is listed as an exit without a destination at Cerro. In the 2014/15 season and thereafter, neither missions nor a squad membership were recorded.
