The Älpelekopf is a 2,024 m high grass mountain in the Allgäu Alps .
It lies in the ridge that stretches from the Lahnerkopf to the northwest. Its northeast side slopes down to the Schrecksee with a very steep, grass-strewn rock face . Its notch height is at least 44 meters, its dominance 800 meters.
There is no marked path to the Älpelekopf. It can be reached from the Lahnerkopf via the ridge that begins there or from the Erzberg valley via the southwest flank.
