Ågerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sømme Herred in what was then Roskilde Amt , then to Gundsø Kommune in Roskilde Amt, which in turn became part of the enlarged Roskilde Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On January 1, 2020, of the 2254 inhabitants of the parish, 1550 lived in Ågerup parish and 402 in Store Valby . The "Ågerup Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring communities are in the north Kirkerup Sogn , in the east Hvedstrup Sogn , in the southeast in the area of the Høje-Taastrup municipality the parish Fløng Sogn and in the south Himmelev Sogn . In the west the parish borders on the Roskilde Fjord .
