Svogerslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sømme Herred in what was then Københavns Amt (until 1808: Roskilde Amt ), then to Roskilde Municipality in the “new” Roskilde Amt , which became part of the “new” Roskilde Municipality in the course of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 Region Sjælland has risen.
4,326 inhabitants live in the parish, 4,274 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Svogerslev Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring municipalities are Sankt Jørgensbjerg Sogn in the north and Roskilde Domsogn in the east , and Glim Sogn in the neighboring Lejre municipality in the south , Kornerup Sogn in the west and Herslev Sogn in the north-west .
