Villa Elisabeth (Radebeul)

The Villa Elisabeth , formerly Villa Goethe after the also adjoining Goethestrasse , is located at Clara-Zetkin-Strasse 11 in the Radebeul district of the Saxon city of Radebeul . It was built in 1899/1902.

The “ villa-like tenement house ”, which is a listed building along with the enclosure , is located on a corner plot of land facing Goethestrasse. The two-story house has differently designed facades, a base made of broken stone and bricks and a high, flattened tiled hipped roof that has been extended.

A three-storey corner tower with a pointed helmet , similar to a steep tent roof , which flattens slightly at the bottom, stands at the crossroads. This was originally a hood with a lantern . In the main view to the left of Clara-Zetkin-Straße there is a risalit with a rafter gable and ornamental framework . To the left of this is a two-story veranda .

In the street view towards Goethestrasse there is a three-storey, polygonal stand bay , which is covered by a crooked hip. Further to the right is the narrow side of a risalit, which in the right side view faces the street. This is also adorned with ornamental frameworks on the upper floor and in the gable and finished off with a crooked hip roof. There is also a staircase tower with staggered narrow windows.

The facades of the plastered building are emphasized by sandstone structures and ornamental frameworks, the rectangular windows are framed by sandstone walls.
