Çeltek is a village in the district of Şarkikaraağaç in the Turkish province of Isparta . It is located 138 km northeast of Antalya at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level. Turkey’s second largest lake, Beyşehir Lake , is 3 km away. Celtek is located about 131 km east of the provincial capital Isparta and only 12 km south of the district town Sarkikaraagac.

In 2012 the village had 324 inhabitants. In summer the population rises to 600 when those living outside of Ankara, Antalya, Germany and France come to Celtek.

The village has a relatively well-equipped health station and a primary school. In addition, there is a drinking water supply. However, there is no sewerage system. The main road is paved. The community has a well-developed irrigation system.

The villagers live almost exclusively from cattle breeding, agriculture, fishing and small crafts.

In the south of Çeltek lies the Beyşehir Lake , in the north the Sultandağları Mountains, part of the Taurus Mountains . To the east of the town is the Kızıldağ Mountain with the Kızıldağ National Park , which is of great importance in terms of oxygen production. The national park has a high population of cedar, spruce and juniper trees and is home to numerous endemic plant species.
