Coordinates: 48 ° 52 ′ 6.3 ″  N , 2 ° 20 ′ 32.1 ″  E The École de la chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne ( ECSCP ), German for " School of the Chamber of the Parisian Fashion Industry ", is a 1927Private fashion school foundedby the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture fashion associationin Paris .

The ECSCP belongs to the French fashion umbrella organization Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, founded in 1973 (until 2017: Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode ). The fashion school is managed and financed by the Cercle Saint-Roch (named after a previous address of the school), which was founded in 2002 and is made up of executives from the major Parisian fashion companies, and is considered the leading fashion school in Europe. The Cercle Saint-Roch is headed by the French Sidney Toledano, former Dior manager and chairman and CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group since 2018 .

The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture , founded in 1868 , initially supported several Paris fashion schools financially, before setting up its own training institute for budding fashion designers in 1927. In the first school year of 1929 around 800 students were enrolled. The location was the Rue de la Sourdière in Paris in the Quartier du Palais-Royal in the 1st arrondissement . In 1945 the school moved to parallel street 45, Rue Saint-Roch. From 1960 there was international cooperation with foreign fashion schools. From 1980 courses for fashion managers were offered. Since 2010 the school has been located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Palais Brongniart . There is a strategic partnership with the Institut français de la mode .
