Edouard I. de Beaujeu

Édouard I. de Beaujeu (born April 11, 1316 - † June 8, 1351 in Ardres ) was lord of Beaujeu from 1331 and lord of Montpensier from 1346 . He was the son of Guichard VI. de Beaujeu , Lord of Beaujeu, and Marie de Châtillon, daughter of Gaucher V. de Châtillon , Connétable of France .

Édouard de Beaujeu took part in the Battle of Crécy in 1346 and was appointed Marshal of France the following year . In 1349/50 he became captain general of Picardy and Artois . He was killed in a skirmish with the English near Calais.

With a marriage contract of February 12, 1333, he married Marie de Thil, † March 4, 1360, daughter of Jean I, Seigneur de Thil . Your children were:
