Émilie Aubry (born April 8, 1990 in Ipsach ) is a Swiss snowboarder . She has owned the Swiss SBX title since 2013.

biography

She started snowboarding at the age of four. During the following years she practiced several snowboard disciplines, for example halfpipe and big air . However, she wanted to focus on snowboard cross . She trains in Magglingen and Marin NE and has two trainers: Alexandre Plaschy and Harald Benselin. She has been part of the Swiss Snowboard Team since 2006 and is also a member of the B-team. Your training group is Challenger SBX. She is a member of the regional association GJ. She also worked for a landscaper and acted as a referee. She drove her first World Cup race in Saas-Fee in October 2005, which she finished in 39th place. From 2005 to 2010 she mainly participated in the European Cup. She took second place in the halfpipe rating in the 2005/06 season and first place in the snowboard cross rating in 2008/09 . At the 2010 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Cardrona , she won bronze in snowboard cross. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season in Lech am Arlberg she achieved her first top ten placement in the World Cup with fifth place. This is her best World Cup result so far. Further top ten placements followed in the season. At the season highlight in January 2011, she came ninth at the 2011 Snowboard World Championships in La Molina . She finished the season in eighth place in the snowboard cross ranking. At the 2013 Snowboard World Championships in Stoneham , she finished 20th. Aubry was Swiss champion in snowboard cross in 2008, 2013 and 2014.

In 1999 she won her first competition.
