Marin is a place in the municipality of La Tène in the Neuchâtel district , Canton of Neuchâtel , Switzerland .

In 1888 Marin merged with the former municipality of Epagnier to form the municipality of Marin-Epagnier , which in turn merged with Thielle-Wavre to form the municipality of La Tène.
