La Coudre was an independent political municipality in the Neuchâtel district , Canton of Neuchâtel , Switzerland . After an approved referendum with 71 to 46 votes in February 1929, La Coudre merged with the city of Neuchâtel in 1930 .
La Coudre was first mentioned in 1143 as La Coudra and consisted of the hamlets of Monruz , La Favarge and the Fontaine-André monastery .
