Vilars NE is a village in the political municipality Val-de-Ruz , canton Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Vilars is located in the high valley of Val de Ruz between the towns of Fenin and Saules at around 750 m above sea level. M. on the northwest slope of the Chaumont . Before 1875, Vilars was an independent municipality, until the end of 2012 the village belonged to the political municipality Fenin-Vilars-Saules and thus to the then Val-de-Ruz district . On January 1, 2013, Vilars was merged with Fenin-Vilars-Saules to form the valley municipality of Val-de-Ruz .
