The District du Val-de-Ruz was a district of the Canton of Neuchâtel in Switzerland until December 31, 2017 . It included the region of the Val de Ruz and the surrounding Jura heights .

Changes in the community
On November 27, 2011, the electorate approved a merger of 15 municipalities from the 16 municipalities of the district on January 1, 2013. The new municipality is called Val-de-Ruz and has around 16,000 inhabitants. Since then, the district has consisted of only two communities, Val-de-Ruz and Valangin .
