Life

The defensive all-rounder began his career in 1990 at AS Nancy-Lorraine . Rabésandratana played in Nancy until the end of the 1996/97 season: Although the club had to relegate to the second division in 1992, Rabésandratana stayed in the team and in 1996 the Lorraine region managed to return to France's top division. After relegation after only one season in the House of Lords, however, Rabésandratana left the club and moved to Paris Saint-Germain . For Nancy Rabésandratana had completed a total of 231 games by then, in which he scored 35 goals. With "PSG" Rabésandratana reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup , which however was lost 1-0 to FC Barcelona . In 1998, he and his club were French cup winners , French league cup winners and French Supercup winners . After 5 years (102 games, 5 goals) at "PSG", he moved to the Greek capital in the summer of 2002 : For the transfer fee of € 750,000, Rabésandratana moved to the Greek top club AEK Athens . His time in Greece was not crowned with success and Rabésandratana was not used in a single competitive game. After only one season in southern Europe , Rabésandratana therefore moved back to France to LB Châteauroux in the French Ligue 2 . At LB Châteauroux he was active for two seasons (28 games, 1 goal). At the end of his career, Éric Rabésandratana played for three years at RAEC Mons in the top division ( Jupiler Pro League ) of Belgium. In 74 games he scored six goals there.
