Career

The time at Olympique Lyon

Born in the small town of Bediala in Ivoria , Tié Bi came to France with his parents from the Ivory Coast as a child. After he had already been used in the youth of regional football teams, the committed young player came to his first top address in French football in 2006 when he was accepted into the youth department of Olympique Lyon . There he initially played mainly in the youth team and came in the 2007/08 season from one of the youth teams to the club's reserve team, which participates in the four-class CFA . In the same season he was used in eight championship games of the reserve team.

In the following season, the native Ivorian was used in 19 league games in which he was again without any scoring. But he was with the team after surviving play-offs French amateur champion of the reserve teams of the 2008/09 season. Tié Bi was also used as a substitute in the play-off final against the B-team of FC Sochaux ; in the end they won 3-0 with confidence. In the 2009/10 season, the defensive midfielder became a true regular in the reserve team of the Eastern French and was featured in 30 league games in which he also demonstrated his offensive strength by contributing three goals for his team.

As in the previous year, Olympique Lyon B won the French amateur championship title for the second time in a row after defeating Le Havre AC's reserves 3-2 in the 120-minute final. The physically strong Tié Bi was in action for the full 120 minutes. Before that, he already cut a good figure in the semi-final against the Paris Saint-Germain reserves and was also successful as an assistant in the 3-0 success of his team by preparing the first goal after a combination game with Alexandre Lacazette .

Transfer to FC Évian Thonon Gaillard

After a successful time in the reserve team of Olympique Lyon, Tié Bi was committed to the second-rate French Ligue 2 , FC Évian Thonon Gaillard , for the coming season at the end of May 2010 . Together with him, Brice Dja Djédjé , another Ivorian-French citizen, was brought into the team. The same age Dja Djedjé previously played for the B-team of Paris SG. After he moved to the club from Gaillard on the Swiss border shortly before the start of the 2010/11 season , he played in the season opener against FC Metz on August 6, 2010 , making his league and professional debut at the same time. In the game, which Évian won 2-0 away, he was substituted on for Senegalese Pape Ibrahima M'Boup in the 62nd minute .

In the following game against OC Vannes , which Évian won 4-0 at home and thus also took the lead in the table, Tié Bi was used from the start and even played through the full game. So far (as of September 14, 2010) another two appearances in Ligue 2 and two appearances in the Coupe de la Ligue of the 2010/11 season followed , in which the team was eliminated in the second round against EA Guingamp after one had problems finding the tournament playfully from the start. For Tié Bi it was the first two appearances at all in this competition.
