The Austrian Women's Volleyball Cup was played for the 36th time by the Austrian Volleyball Association in the 2015/16 season and began with the first round on September 22, 2015 and ended with the final on February 8, 2016. The cup went to SG SVS Post .

Participating teams

For the Austrian Volleyball Cup, based on the participation of the leagues of the 2015/16 season, the following 30 teams, which after the season placement of the 1st Bundesliga 2014/15 , the 2nd Bundesliga East 2014/15 , 2nd Bundesliga South 2014/15 and the 2. Bundesliga West 2014/15 are classified. Teams that are marked as crossed out did not take part in the competition for various reasons or are the first teams and therefore did not play for the cup. Furthermore, the state cup winners, the state champions or their representatives from the 2014/15 season could take part.
