Özgür Cebe (born June 15, 1974 in Bielefeld ) is an actor , cabaret artist and stand-up comedian living in Germany .

Life

One year after his birth, Cebe moved to Bonn with his parents . He has Turkish , Armenian and Kurdish roots. In 1994 Cebe started an internship at the Theater an der Ruhr . Under the direction of Roberto Ciulli he played his first roles, which took him on tours to Italy and Sweden. He completed an inter-company training as an IT systems clerk and in the last year of his training began additional training as an actor, which he completed with the stage maturity. Despite two professional qualifications, he does not work in either of them, but has been making a living as a solo cabaret artist since 2009.

Özgür Cebe is married, lives and works in Bonn when he's not touring .

Cabaret and cinema

Cebe played roles for various TV formats such as Der Clown , Alarm für Cobra 11 (several episodes) or Hammer und Hart . He can also be seen in short films such as Kanake , One Time Pizza Tonno with extra cheese (leading role) and Jesus sees you (leading role). For two years he played regularly alongside Kaya Yanars What are you watching ?! in a wide variety of roles. Özgür Cebe plays the character Güney in Lindenstrasse . In this guest role he appeared occasionally since 2006. He made his debut as a leading actor in the movie Reset .

In the 1st Cologne Wohnzimmerthteater he made his debut as a comedian, then had numerous cameo appearances in NightWash -Salon WDR. Özgür Cebe toured nationwide for the first time with the former cabaret solo program The Moving Muselmann . He can also be seen in the WDR production as a permanent panel member in the program Baustelle Deutschland , moderated by Jürgen Becker. He participated in the midnight peaks and in cabaret at the minaret in the meeting place of the Duisburg-Marxloher mosque, a series of events with Jürgen Becker . Since September 17, 2018, he has been designing a long-running satirical radio show series called Ghettos Faust on 1Live ; this is the name of the new program that he has been bringing to cabaret stages since autumn 2018. His two oldest programs can no longer be booked. At the biennial competition for stage originals, Tegtmeier's heirs , he made it into the final selection for the first time in 2019: six out of forty.

At the Open Air Theater in Solingen, he played the role of Mammon in Jedermann by Hugo von Hofmannsthal in 2008, directed by Friederike Felbeck.
