Ølsted Strandhuse is a Danish holiday home area with 206 permanent residents (as of January 1, 2020) on Zealand near the village of Ølsted . The holiday home area is located in the parish of Ølsted ( Ølsted Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to Harde Strø Herred in what was then Frederiksborg Amt . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the municipality of Frederiksværk , the municipality in turn merged with other municipalities in the newly founded municipality of Halsnæs , which belongs to the Hovedstaden region , with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Ølsted Sydstrand is located directly on the Roskildefjord , about two kilometers west of Ølsted and about four kilometers south of Frederiksværk .
