The Černý potok (German Jüppelbach , on the upper reaches of the Schwarzwasser ) is a right tributary of the Weidenauer Water / Vidnavka in the Czech Republic .

course

The Černý potok rises on the northern slope of the Žulový vrch ( Brandkoppe , 718 m) on the Nesselkoppenkamm ( Sokolský hřbet ) in the Reichensteiner Mountains . Its source is located between the Grünberger Bruch and the Archbishop's Break in the Friedeberger Granite Massif . On its course, which initially leads north-west through the Friedeberger Uplands (Žulovská pahorkatina), the stream flows through the settlement of Zelená Hora and flows around the Vycpálek ( Haspelberg , 500 m) to the west. At the Andělské Domky, the Černý potok turns to the east and changes its direction to the northeast at the Píšťala ( Pfeifferstein , 447 m). Subsequently, the villages Černá Voda and Rokliny extend along the stream . On the lower reaches of the Černý potok, in a deep valley with several river loops, it makes its way through the mountains. Past Habina (Habichtova bouda), after 14.8 kilometers, the stream finally reaches Malá Kraš , where it flows into the Weidenauer Wasser / Vidnavka.

The average flow rate at the mouth of the Červený potok is 0.298 m³ / s.
