İpek Öz (born July 8, 1999 ) is a Turkish tennis player .

Career

Öz began playing tennis at the age of five and mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has so far won one tournament in singles and seven in doubles.

She played her first tournament as a professional player in September 2013 in Antalya , but was only able to win her first professional match in August 2014 after five first round defeats. In October 2016, she reached her first doubles final at a US $ 10,000 ITF tournament. In December 2016, she received a wildcard for the $ 50,000 Ankara Cup , but lost her first-round encounter with 2: 6 and 3: 6 against Marija Marfutina .

İpek Öz played her first tournament on the WTA Tour at the end of April 2017 at the İstanbul Cup , where she started qualifying with a wildcard . She lost her first round match against Anna Kalinskaja in three sets with 3: 6, 6: 4 and 5: 7. In October 2017 she won her first ITF singles tournament in Antalya.

İpek Öz has never participated in an ITF tournament outside of Turkey in her career.
