Atilla Şereftuğ is a Turkish - Swiss composer and music producer . He became famous for two songs he composed and performed at the 31st and 33rd Eurovision Song Contest for Switzerland. He is married to Daniela Simmons .
Eurovision Song Contest
In 1986 Daniela Simmons represented Switzerland at the 31st Eurovision Song Contest in Bergen (Norway) with the song Pas pour moi penned by Atilla Şereftuğ. The text was by Nella Martinetti . The song reached second place.
Two years later, Canadian Celine Dion competed for Switzerland at the 33rd Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin with the song Ne partez pas sans moi and won by one point over the United Kingdom . The song was again a co-production by the composer Atilla Şereftuğ and the lyricist Nella Martinetti .
