Daniela Simmons

Daniela Simmons (sometimes also written as Daniela Simons ) (* 1961 in Perugia ) is an Italian - Swiss composer , pianist and singer .

Life

Daniela Simmons was born to Italian parents. Her father was already a musician and encouraged his daughter from an early age. Daniela Simmons sang the first songs at the age of three and composed the first songs at the age of 13. She studied piano at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and graduated with a diploma.

Daniela Simmons' entry into professional show business was winning the 1984 Télévision Suisse Romande music competition “La grande Chance” for young artists with a song she composed “Une autre vie” . The following year Daniela Simmons went to London and later on a tour of Italy with Enrico Ruggeri , Mariella Nava , Fiorella Mannoia and others.

In 1986 Daniela Simmons represented Switzerland at the 31st Eurovision Song Contest in Bergen , Norway with the song “Pas pour moi”, which was composed by Atilla Şereftuğ and written by Nella Martinetti . She reached second place.

In 1991 she married the composer Atilla Şereftuğ. A year later, their son was born.
