Piera Martell

Piera Martell (born July 2, 1943 in Jona , Canton of St. Gallen ) is a former Swiss pop singer .

Despite the last place in the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with the song Mein Ruf nach Dir , she was able to achieve a certain prominence in Switzerland, among other things by appearing on television. Several international appearances followed. In 1976 she took part in the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest, but was only penultimate with the song Ein neue Tag .

In 1981 she withdrew from show business, appearing only on a smaller scale.
