Pino Gasparini

Pino Gasparini (born March 22, 1946 in Ascoli Piceno ) is a Swiss singer and entertainer.

Raised in Italy , he came to Switzerland at a young age. In the 1960s he was a singer and guitarist in various rock and beat bands , including The Sevens, with whom he released an album in 1966. In 1969 he started working for Pepe Lienhard , first as an electric bass player and singer in the sextet, later as a singer and entertainer with the large orchestra. With the Pepe Lienhard Band he also took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1977 in London . Her title Swiss Lady reached number 6 there and was a number 1 hit in the Swiss charts . Since 1980 the Pepe Lienhard Orchestra has accompanied Udo Jürgens on his tours, where Gasparini then acted as a background singer .

Together with Mariella Farré he won the Swiss preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg . Her hit piano, piano reached twelfth place there.
