biography

ZiBBZ was founded in 2008 by the sibling duo Corinne "Co" Gfeller ( vocals ) and Stefan "Stee" Gfeller ( drums / percussion , piano ). The band name is a modification of the English word for siblings: Siblings.

Co and Stee have been commuting between Switzerland and their adopted home Los Angeles since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, the band was accompanied in their own weekly reality TV show by the TV station Joiz . So far, ZiBBZ have released two studio albums. The first album Ready? Go! came onto the market in 2013 and reached number 14 in the official Swiss charts. This was followed in 2017 by the second album It Takes A Village in self-production and reached number 11 in the Swiss charts. In between, several single releases followed, including the song Children of the Digital , the video of which was played on MTV in the USA in rotation.

In 2014, ZiBBZ competed with the Bieranjas in the show Kampf der Orchester and reached the final.

In 2018, ZiBBZ and their Song Stones were selected by an international jury and the Swiss TV audience to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon , but were eliminated in the first semi-final on May 8, 2018.
