The big decision show from 2011 to 2018 was the Swiss preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . In 2011 and 2012 14 performers took part, in 2013 nine and since 2014 six. A jury evaluated one half of the decision, a televoting the second. Until 2018 , the jury came from Switzerland. In 2018 there were individual jury members from different countries, similar to the Swedish preliminary decision Melodifestivalen . The voting was not shown publicly until 2018 .
After the ESC 2018 , SRG SSR announced that the preliminary decision in 2019 would be canceled and replaced by an internal selection.
All programs were moderated by Sven Epiney . In 2018 Stefan Büsser joined as co-moderator.
