Véronique Müller

Véronique Müller (born February 9, 1948 in Murten , Switzerland ) is a Swiss songwriter.

Before her career, she worked as a secretary, including for Petula Clark . During a stay in England she was also a student of Freddie Winrose , who also coached Shirley Bassey .

At the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 she represented Switzerland with the title C'est la chanson de mon amour . It achieved the 8th place. Other well-known titles by her are Hey Ho, Sämeli and We du geisch . Her first LP was musically arranged by Benoit Kaufmann. The illustrations for the album were created by the French painter Françoise Debert, Paris.

She was married to the Swiss journalist Guido Baumann , who died in 1992, and lived in Zurich and Herrliberg during this time . Müller now lives again in her hometown of Murten and, among other things, supervises competitions for young talents.
