Live and act

After studying classical singing at the Conservatoire de Friborg , Carol Rich turned to Schlager and took part in the national preliminary round of the 1984 Eurovision Song Contest . Her title Tokyo Boy reached 7th place there. In 1987, however, she was more successful: her pop title Moitié-moitié (German: 'Half and Half') won the preselection and was allowed to represent Switzerland at the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest in Brussels . The song came 17th out of 22 places.

In 1990, Rich moved to Paris and took an extended hiatus while she had two children. At the beginning of 2000 she returned to the stage - this time with a mixed program of pop, chanson and gospel. From then on she released new albums.
