Egon Egemann

Egon Egemann (* 1963 in Graz as Egon Lackner  ) is a violinist , singer , composer and music producer .

After studying violin as a major at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz , he worked as a violinist in the then little-known hit group Die Paldauer . In 1985 the LP Ein Lied für Dich by “Die Paldauer & Egon Egemann” was released. He then went to Berklee College of Music in Boston / USA for a short time . Back in Europe, he came to Switzerland and played with the DRS -Bigband of the Swiss radio and produced and composed for other artists in his own recording studio.

As the winner of the Swiss preliminary decision he took the pop music sounds into the world at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1990 in Zagreb for Switzerland in part. He got the eleventh place.

Together with his two violin-playing children, he founded the Celtic rock group Two Generations in 2003 . Since 2004 he has played in the gypsy jazz / rock band Mad Manoush, which has previously been heard at international world music festivals.
