Mariella Farré

Mariella Farré (* 1963 in the canton of Thurgau ; actually Gabriella Ricamato-Filomeno ) is a Swiss singer .

biography

Born the daughter of a Swiss woman and an Italian , she grew up with three siblings in Schaffhausen . She gained her first stage experience at various music festivals, at the age of 15 she emerged as the winner of one of these competitions for the first time.

In 1983 she took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for Switzerland after winning the national preliminary round. Two years earlier, she failed in the preliminary round, in which she was sixth. At the 1983 competition in Munich , she reached 15th place with her song Io così non ci sto (Eng. "I don't agree").

In 1985 she entered the preliminary round with two pieces, namely Oh, mein Pierrot, which reached 7th place, and the later winner piano, piano, which she performed together with Pino Gasparini . At Euro Vision Song Contest 1985 reached piano, piano 12th grade.

Today Mariella Farré is the owner of two dance schools in Brugg and Wohlen .
