Željko Pavlović (born March 2, 1971 in Sarajevo ) is a former Croatian football player .
Career
Pavlović began his professional career at FK Sarajevo in what is now Bosnia-Herzegovina . After good performances, the goalkeeper moved to Croatia Zagreb . He then came to Austria for FC Linz via his next club NK Zagreb . After the two major Linz clubs merged, he played for LASK from 1997 to 2001 . After the Linzers were relegated to the second level, the goalkeeper went to RSC Anderlecht , but was unable to prevail. After two years in Belgium, I went back to Austria, this time to Austria Salzburg , but there too it wasn't enough to become a regular goalkeeper. After half a year with FC Kärnten in the second division, the Croat went to FC Wacker Tirol in 2004 , where his contract was not renewed in summer 2008.
Pavlović played seven times for the Croatian national team.
