Ʉʉ

The letter Ʉ (lower case ʉ ) is a letter of the Latin writing system , consisting of a U / u with a slash . The letter is used in Arhuaco , Badwe'e , Budu , Comanche (where the letter is pronounced as ə ), Mesem , Melpa, and Sayula Popoluca . The lowercase letter ʉ is used in the international phonetic alphabet for the rounded closed back vowel .

Unicode contains the Ʉ at the code points U + 0244 (uppercase letter) and U + 0289 (lowercase letter).
