The Čar ( ჭ ) is the 30th letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [ tʃʼ ] and is transcribed in German with the tetragraph tsch.

Today only the ჭ is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter Ⴝ ; the lower case counterpart was the ⴝ .

It was assigned the numerical value 5000.
