The Jil ( ) is the 28th letter of the Georgian alphabet . The letter represents the sound [ dz ] and is transcribed in German with the digraph ds.

Today only the ძ is used in the Mchedruli alphabet . In the historical Chutsuri alphabet there was still the capital letter ; the lower case counterpart was the .

It was assigned the numerical value 3000.
