(1018) Arnolda is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on March 3, 1924 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .
On the occasion of his 70th birthday in 1933, the asteroid was named after Arnold Berliner , the then editor of the journal Die Naturwissenschaften .
