(11519) Eagle is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 8 April 1991 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.
The asteroid is a member of the Massalia family, a group of asteroids with low orbital inclination named after their largest member (20) Massalia .
(11519) Adler was named after the Austrian doctor and psychotherapist Alfred Adler (1870–1937), the founder of individual psychology .
