(1346) Gotha is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on February 2, 1929 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth in Heidelberg .

The name of the asteroid is derived from the Thuringian city of Gotha , the location of the historic Seeberg observatory .
