(1408) Trusanda is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on November 23, 1936 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth in Heidelberg .
The asteroid is named after Trude Hochgesand , an acquaintance of the German astronomer Heinrich Vogt .
