(15265) Ernsting is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 12, 1990 by the German astronomers Freimut Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg .
He was named on 14 June 2003 according to the German science fiction - writer and co-founder of the Science Fiction Club Germany Walter Ernsting , of his novels primarily under the pseudonym Clark Darlton published.
