(15860) Siráň is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on April 20, 1996 by the Slovak astronomers Adrián Galád and Dušan Kalmančok at the observatory of the Comenius University in Modra ( IAU code 118).

The asteroid is named after the Slovak geophysicist Gustáv Sirán (1934-2000), who headed the Department of Astronomy, Geophysics and Meteorology at Comenius University from 1981 to 1989. During this time the observatory in Modra was also built, where this asteroid was discovered.
